"When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but really loves you, then you become Real." - Margery Williams
The Velveteen Rabbit is a heart-warming story about a very shy toy rabbit, who longs for nothing more than to become real.
He spends his days waiting patiently in the Child's playroom watching all the other toys being played with and dreaming of being picked up and loved. And then, one night, he is rediscovered and all his hopes start to come true…
Cat & Hutch use puppetry and original song to bring to life Margery Williams' classic tale of a toy rabbit's wish to become 'real' and shows how one child makes this happen through love, imagination and a bit of nursery magic.
